Kutupalong: Rohingyas hit dead end
2017 M11 2
Fleeing an "ethnic cleansing" in Myanmar, in the words of United Nations (UN), more than 600,000 Rohingya Muslims have taken refuge in Bangladesh in the past two months. Swelling the ranks of their compatriots who fled earlier waves of violence and number at least 300,000, they now occupy camps in the south of the country, a veritable tent city, overcrowded and unsanitary. The Kutupalong refugee camp expands each day. On track to become the largest in the world, it is set to welcome 800,000 people. Navigate on the satellite image and find the stories of the Rohingya refugees interviewed by AFP.
